The process of making decorative half round profiles
In this video I’ll make a bunch of half round profiles from spruce using a router table and a table saw.

Makita Grinder Soft Start Retrofit + Switch Replacement HOW TO
Переглядів 9 тис.Рік тому
My big Makita grinder has always had a problem with the switch where it occasionally just would not start. When it started it produced such a startup surge that it often tripped the braker. Quite annoying. To solve the issue, I replaced the switch and retrofitted a soft starter in an epic, adventurous journey. So come with me! Let's learn together! Making Automatic Blast Gates for my Woodshop + Electrical Work and answering FAQ
Переглядів 28 тис.2 роки тому
I built some automatic dust collection blast gates for my woodworking machines because the manual ones were just too annoying. The blast gates were made from Baltic birch plywood and PVC tubing. The wooden parts were manufactured on a Stepcraft M700 CNC router. The electrical box contains a power supply to provide 12V DC for the linear actuator of the blast gate, a reverse polarity relay and a ...
My Cute German Shaper - Elektra Beckum (now METABO) TF 900
Переглядів 28 тис.3 роки тому
I bought an Elektra Beckum TF 900 spindle moulder from a guy living only five minutes away in the next village. A Spindle moulder, also called a shaper, has a vertical spindle which can hold all sorts of different cutters. It can perform all sorts of different milling and shaping operations on wood. Many say the spindle moulder is the most dangerous tool in the workshop and it is basically a ro...

The EASIEST Solution for Dust Collection - Makita RT0700 - more Experiments with 3D printed Parts

www.thingiverse.com/thing:4632634 In my last video I developed a funnel insert that will make the original Makita dust shroud work really well. Drilling perfectly centred holes using a Drill Press?
Very nice work sir
I have this planer too, actually 2 bc the first one arrived damaged.. although vevor said it shouldnt matter for using it and offered me some money back i insisted on the safety and otherwise i would send it back under their 30 day no questions asked policy. So they just send me a new one and i could keep the damaged one for parts or something. Only now i want to change the knives because the woods comes out with like cutting marks. Only i have no clue how that works with this one.... I have replaced knives before on a jointer but here im struggling a bit... Also cant find any Vevor specific video for it.... U have any clue?
Managed to replace one knife but the way i use that tool the knife sticks much further above the wheeler role(where its mounted in) then other knives i didnt replace yet.... So i must be using the tool wrong! The manual is not clear about it either
Nice build. Hey, Cosmas your name suggests a tool makers name.
i like those Bosch work pants, good videos man!
Why always on all woodwork videos do we have to get told that you have scraps of wood or it was left over from etc etc... Why?????
thx bro :)
Wow ingeneous thanks
You've deleted a lot of your videos cosmas, you had many pistol crossbow builds etc, pity i wanted to rewatch them.
Plans?
great video , especially the little bits regarding the lower jaw, my question is i didnt see you removing mill scale from the raw steel bars , is removing important or simply painting on top of it will prevent rust, i have a stick welder, just beginning to start small projects.
Hi there , thanks for your awesome videos. Been watching you for a few years now. I just bought this planer and mine also doesn't have a dust hood. Do you still have the plans for this dust hood ?
Parallel clamps are nothing else than fancy bar clamps.
Run away from it
Perfect!
thank you.
Very nice...
It's really powerful, you did a great job
another guy improved dustcollection by folding thin plastic in a neat way to close the semicirkled hole. Easily clipped of for blade change. 10 year still running @cosmas?
Thank you foe sharing this video, this is awesome. I`d like to copy this tablesaw, so would you please let me know what thickness of Baltic plywood.
Very excellent thanks for sharing such great and comprehensive video . keep on mister woodworker :-)
Just found this!!! So glad I did! Thank you!
Apakah kamu bisa menyemangati alantutorial?
Hi in the video you compare Vevor from what I can see with 3 knives with a 2-knife Makita. Is there a difference in the quality of planing? There is no head lock in the Vevor. Is there a repeatable even board thickness? Overall, would you buy this machine if it was at the same price as the Makita without paying attention to the comfort and the practical result?
its the grizzly track saw
Fantastic Idea.. professionalist, perfectionist..
How to avoid changing the Axis of blade which gets changed automatically after a few uses. I used a Drill Machine. But disappointed... Therefore never get a perfect square cut of 90 degree....
Great - many thanks.
Nice. This is not "Denish Design", not "Netherlands Quality"and not "Italian #%$#$#$" :) Ten times thinging, one tima made it.
nicely done, amazing and clever work.
Great advice Cosmas. I'll do it as well as I can.
How about knive resharpening and additional knife availability?
Hello Cosmas, great work. I have been planning a dustless woodworking workshop for about 6 years now. With your initiative, you have cleaned up the dustiest tool in the Wood workshop. Why cannot tool manufacturers do this with the tools they sell us? All the best to you!
Can you still use the spindle lock button on the circular saw?
superbe réalisation ! Dommage qu'aucuns moyens de sécurité n'ont été prévu (couteau diviseur, etc...) .
1:44 to 1:55 that’s it, that’s the how to
There is no way I am spending so much time on something which you can buy, but I love your closing sentence! Germans lacking sense of humour? That's so 20th century. Top man, made me chuckle. And of course, top marks for the enthusiasm and for giving me some great ideas. Do you have videos on the belt sander and jigsaw holders? (Mind you, the jigsaw one is a bit crazy, as you didn't fail to point out). 😊
Wow…. I would have never guessed. When you put the bolt in the chuck, I had the ah ha moment. Im gonna try it today!!!! Thank you!!!
Taugt die TF900 auch mit 230V? Weißt du da was? :)
МОЛАДЕЦ
I just saw your videos on the blast gates. This answer a problem I was trying to come up with a solution for. Thank you so much for sharing. Would you be interested in sharing the templates you showed in the videos? I would be willing to pay for them. I don't have access to a drawing software. Again, thank you!
Guys. Buy a caliper and check your bushings diameters! Duh!
Problem with this channel is he will not share any info, part numbers or designs. So this channel is a waste of time.
I think Metabo dh330 costs +- the same and is probably a better quality product. Thoughts?
That is certainly true!
wo finde ich den zweiten teil?
Gibt es nicht.
@@CosmasBauer leider!
Мне показалось он сильно трясется при повороте.
You made is smaller thus increasing the air velocity. But you should od put the hose on the top or on the front. You are fighting inertia of the particles and loosing. instead you should use that inertia to collect the particles. C- Design
Nice
It feels weird leaving the table saw on the whole time, I would have turned that thing off and on again 20 times 😂
Especially those heavier production machines don't like beeing switched on and off that often. They are often left running for the entire shift. But you definitely would not want to do that to hobby equipment. :D
